26 Jul Walnut bureau restoration.
This Walnut bureau had definately seen better days! When it came in to me it looked rather battered and dirty, with water damage and extensive staining and scratches on the top. The bureau also had pieces of veneer missing and the handles benefitted from a gentle clean! After the initial clean and the removal of the ink stains and other surface damage and repair to the veneer the Walnut bureau was then French polished and finally waxed to reveal a nice glowing finish and a much fresher look!
